- Your US securities are SIPC protected up to $500,000: Your US securities are held with our partner Alpaca, who is FINRA regulated and a registered member of the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC).

- EU investor protections insure up to €20,000 across your portfolio: Your assets are covered up to the amount €20,000 by the Estonian Investor Protection Sectoral Fund. Crypto-assets are not covered by any investor compensation scheme in the EU.

- We safeguard your cash with authorised banks & financial institutions: Customer funds are held in a mix of AAA-rated BlackRock and J.P. Morgan Asset Management Money Market Funds and cash in authorised commercial banks. Your money is always kept separate from ours.

- Your assets are yours, no one else’s: Your assets are yours, no one else’s. You are the owner of all your investments, and your assets are held in separate accounts. Your assets can’t be touched by our creditors and in the unlikely event of Lightyear’s insolvency, everything is returned to you. Your crypto-assets are no different.

### What are the fees?

For Ready-made Plans, there are no buy or sell fees. Annual fund manager fees apply.

### How do I create a Ready-made plan?

It only takes a few taps! Head to the Portfolio page on Lightyear and tap 'Create a Plan'. From there, choose Ready-made Plans, pick the risk level that suits you, and you're set. 

You can also set up auto-invest, allowing you to sit back and relax, while your portfolio grows in the background.

### What account types are Ready-made Plans supported in?

Ready-made Plans are available across all account types and in all of Lightyear’s active markets.

### What do Ready-made Plans invest in?

Each plan is built around a single, carefully selected fund from BlackRock or Vanguard, two of the world's biggest asset managers. Moderate and Growth plans use iShares Portfolio ETFs, while the All-World plan uses Vanguard's FTSE All-World ETF. All three give you broad diversification, based on your risk appetite.

### What should I take into account when choosing a Ready-made Plan to invest in?

The main thing to consider is your risk appetite and goals. Moderate Mix is designed for those who want steadier, more conservative exposure. Growth suits those comfortable with more market movement. All-World gives you exposure to a stocks-only Plan.
