# How to transfer my portfolio from Swedbank

Step by step guide to initiate transfers with Swedbank

**These steps apply only to non-ISA transfers. For ISA transfers, please see [Transferring my ISA](/help/trading-and-investments/transferring-my-isa).**

We accept securities transfers from Swedbank. Note that the process described below is accurate at time of publication - while we do our best to keep this guide updated, the exact steps may vary. You'll need to complete this process once for each instrument you wish to transfer.

⚠️ **First, make sure you have [initiated the transfer request](/help/trading-and-investments/stock-transfer) in our app to ensure we can accept your holdings.**

## 1. Head to the Swedbank portal

- [Login to Swedbank](https://swedbank.ee/)
- Select “Savings, Investments”
- Select "My Portfolio and reports"
- Scroll to "Securities transfer"

## 2. Fill out the Swedbank securities transfer form

Enter the following details:
- **Securities Account**: Select the account that holds the instrument you want to transfer
- **Security Type**: Stock
- **Currency**: The currency your stock is traded in
- **Security name**: leave blank
- **ISIN**: Enter the ISIN (*International Securities Identification Number*) of the instrument you want to transfer. For example, if you wanted to transfer Wise PLC, you'd enter JE00BQKY0816. 

Hit the “Search” button, and you'll see a summary screen of the security. Click the “-” icon in the “**Sell**” row:

After selecting “Sell” you’ll be redirected to another form to complete the order.

## 3. Complete the Swedbank securities transfer order

At this point, you'll see a form to add more details.

**For UK stock transfers**, enter the following details:

- Quantity: Enter the number of shares you want to transfer to Lightyear
- Security Price: Enter the current market price of the instrument and the currency
- Settlement type: Select free
- Counterparty’s account operator: EUROCLEAR UK AND INTERNATIONAL LTD CRSTGB22XXX
- Counterparty’s securities account: AIUAL
- Counterparty’s name: Lightyear
- Comments: Copy and paste this in to the box: "Brokerage Email: [transfers_uk@lightyear.com](mailto:transfers_uk@lightyear.com)"
- Trade Date: Select a working day that's not later than the present date. If you have trouble setting the date, kindly contact Swedbank for assistance.
- Settlement Date: Select a working day that’s two working days from your chosen trade date. If you have trouble setting the date, kindly contact Swedbank for assistance.
- Stock exchange ref: Leave blank
- Client ref: Leave blank

Standard Settlement Instructions: UK exchange
- Lightyear Nominees Ltd
- Transfer Type/Place of Settlement: CREST
- CREST/Participant ID: AIUAL
- Email: [transfers_uk@lightyear.com](mailto:transfers_uk@lightyear.com) 

**For US stocks**, use the details below:

- Quantity: Enter the number of shares you want to transfer to Lightyear
- Security Price: Enter the current market price of the security and the currency
- Settlement type: Select free
- Counterparty’s account operator: Depositoryclear.com – DTC
- Counterparty’s securities account: 3021
- Counterparty’s name: APCCUS62XXX
- Comments: Account Number: 1PS-7386983LO
- Trade Date: Select a working day that's not later than the present date. If you have trouble setting the date, kindly contact Swedbank for assistance.
- Settlement Date: Select a working day that’s two working days from your chosen trade date. If you have trouble setting the date, kindly contact Swedbank for assistance.
- Stock exchange ref: Leave blank
- Client ref: Leave blank

**For EU stocks**, enter the following details: 
- Quantity: Enter the number of shares you want to transfer to Lightyear
- Security Price: Enter the current market price of the security and the currency
- Settlement type: Select free
- Counterparty’s account operator, counterparty's security account, Counterparty's name, Comments: Reach out to Lightyear Support below with your stock details (ticker(s) and name(s)) and we will advise
- Trade Date: Select a working day that's not later than the present date. If you have trouble setting the date, kindly contact Swedbank for assistance.
- Settlement Date: Select a working day that’s two working days from your chosen trade date. If you have trouble setting the date, kindly contact Swedbank for assistance.
- Stock exchange ref: Leave blank
- Client ref: Leave blank

Once you've added all required details, hit the “Review” button, then **confirm the transfer**

## 4. Sit back & let us take care of the rest
After you submit the form, Swedbank will coordinate the next steps with us.

Once your stock transfer is finished, you will receive a celebratory push notification from us.
