This selection covers the established investment-grade coins, reputable names that have been through multiple market cycles, and a handful of newer ones representing crypto’s innovation. All available in EUR and USD, 24/7. ### What fees am I paying? A single 0.45% fee per order. No hidden markups. Many platforms charge a fee and then quietly add more through the spread, which is the gap between the price you see and the price you actually pay. We don't play these games. ### Which accounts support crypto investments? As of now, you can buy crypto with your General and business accounts on Lightyear. TBSZ doesn’t support crypto, as these accounts are limited to holding cash and traditional financial instruments (e.g., shares, bonds, ETFs). On‑chain crypto‑assets (e.g. BTC, ETH) do not qualify as financial instruments under Hungarian law, meaning they can't be held in a TBSZ. ### How is my crypto protected? Your crypto is held securely. The majority is stored in cold wallets, meaning offline storage not connected to the internet, with a small portion in hot wallets for day to day operations. This is standard practice among regulated crypto providers. Lightyear is MiCA compliant. MiCA is the new EU framework for crypto-asset services, setting standards for security and investor safety. From July 2026, any providers without the required authorisation will be required to stop operating. We already meet the requirements, meaning we're here for the long term.
