Lists are here: your watchlist just got a lot more organised

Since our early days, your Watchlist has been the one place to track everything you're interested in. But there was some feedback: you told us that one place can easily get crammed and that you want more ways to organise a Watchlist across instruments, sectors and strategies. Today, that’s launching.
Lists are here: your watchlist just got a lot more organised

Introducing: Lists. A new way to keep track of all the different instruments you’re interested in.

Your existing watchlist is still there, exactly as before. What's new is what you can do with it. Restyle, rename, rearrange and add as many more lists as you need.

  • Customise, name and design every list. Each list has its own settings, so how you set one up doesn't have to match the others. A list you check every day might sit at the top with a name and colour you can spot instantly, while one you're building for the long term can sit lower down, sorted and styled at a slower pace.
  • News and corporate events, filtered by list. If you want to see news and corporate events for a specific list, you can now filter your Investment Calendar and News per list and account. This can be a huge time-saver if your lists are divided by investment strategy or sector.
  • One instrument in as many lists as you like. Your favourite tech stock can live in "Long-term holds" and "Things I check too often" at the same time. Add an instrument to as many lists as make sense to you, and it'll compliment every one.
  • Volatility alerts, set per list. Want a heads up the moment something in your "Keep an eye on these" list moves? You can now turn on volatility alerts for individual lists, rather than everything or nothing. New lists come with alerts switched on by default and you can flip them off for the lists you'd rather just glance at.

A single watchlist made sense when most people were tracking a handful of instruments. But the more you invest, the more your interests split into groups: the active part of your portfolio, things you're holding for the long run, things you're just curious about. Lists lets you organise around how you actually think about your investments, instead of forcing everything into one long, scrolling column.

Your data, instruments and alerts are all still there, it’s now just a lot easier to keep track of.
