Stock Financials are here 🚀
In a recent survey, we found that nearly half of our customers used some sort of financial information about a company when researching their next investment or keeping on top of the health of companies they’ve already invested in.
That’s why we decided to launch Stock Financials, a section in the app that allows you to dig into companies’ financial performance, earnings, dividends and more.
Performance
The first widget we’ve launched is Performance, illustrating a company’s historical financial performance, with simplified versions of its Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cashflow Statement laid out.
We hope this allows you to better understand if a company is making money, whether debts are being racked up, or how much of the company’s cash flows are being put into investment related activities, to potentially drive longer term growth.
What’s next?
We’re working hard behind the scenes to add even more financials into the Lightyear app. Next up, we’re bringing you a widget showing companies’ earnings releases and dividend history. Watch this space for updates 👀

We’re really excited that so many of our customers have been sharing feedback on what they like, don’t like and want to see more of on Lightyear.
So we’re even more excited to have launched Stock Financials, which has been our most requested new feature. We hope you enjoy it!
As always, if you have any feature requests or thoughts on the app, we’d love to hear them. Just drop us an email to hello@lightyear.com and we’ll take it from there.
