The investment objective of the Fund is to achieve a return on investment, through a combination of capital growth and income on the Fund’s assets, which reflects the return of the STOXX Developed World Equity Factor Screened Index, the Fund’s benchmark index. The Fund is passively managed and invests in stocks that, as far as possible and practicable, make up the Index. The Index reflects the performance of a subset of stocks within the STOXX Developed World Universal Index selected and weighted to maximise exposure to five factors: Momentum, Quality, Value, Low Volatility and Size. The Index aims to represent large- and mid-capitalisation stocks in Developed Markets that comply with the STOXX World Country Classification Framework. It excludes issuers involved in certain controversial activities, including controversial weapons, weapons such as small arms and military contracting, tobacco, thermal coal, unconventional oil and gas, and oil sands. The Fund uses physical replication and may use financial derivative instruments and securities lending. This Share Class is accumulating, meaning income is included in the value of the shares.
