The investment objective of the Fund is to reflect the performance, before fees and expenses, of the S&P 500 Equal Weight Index. The Index is designed to measure the performance of the stocks in the S&P 500 Index, with each stock allocated a fixed weight of 0.20%. The S&P 500 Index contains stocks of large public companies traded on certain eligible US exchanges, selected according to market capitalisation and other eligibility criteria. The Index is calculated on a total return basis, meaning that dividends and distributions are reinvested in the stocks after tax. It is reviewed and rebalanced quarterly, generally to coincide with the re-adjustments of the S&P 500 Index. The Fund is passively managed and will seek to replicate the Index by buying all or a substantial number of the securities in the Index. The Fund may use derivatives and other techniques to manage risk, reduce costs and improve results, and may engage in securities lending. The Fund's currency is USD and returns and gains are reinvested in the Fund.
