On the Apple App Store in Hungary, Lightyear has an average rating of 4.89 from 2,300 ratings. On Google Play in Hungary, our score is 4.86.
On both stores, that's higher than every broker and investing app available in Hungary with at least 100 ratings, and higher than every personal banking app offered to retail customers in Hungary.

How we checked
- We gathered the finance apps available in Hungary: 1,204 on the App Store and 1,410 on Google Play.
- We kept apps with at least 100 ratings, so a handful of friends can't swing an average.
- We sorted what was left into investing apps and everything else.
- We took the exact Hungarian score for each app. Google Play calculates scores country by country but only publishes a worldwide ratings count, so for Google Play we quote the score alone.
What counts as an investing app
An investing app is an app that retail customers in Hungary can use to buy and own stocks and ETFs. We also included every personal banking app offered to retail customers in Hungary by a bank authorised to provide banking services here, whether or not it offers investing. Business banking apps, and apps of banks in the same group that do not serve Hungarian customers, are not included.
