Every quarter, our team works on product improvements that don't always make headlines, but do make a real difference in how investors can make the most out of Lightyear every day.
And the coolest part? A lot of these ideas come directly from our users.
In Q1, we worked hard to give you more clarity and control over your investments, as well as improve accessibility. So, let’s dive into the Spring update of hidden gems we've recently built.
Colour filters for accessibility
Investing is a visual experience - from charts to price movements and portfolio performance - but it doesn’t work the same way for everyone.
We've introduced built-in colour filters to make Lightyear more accessible for people with different types of colour vision. You can choose from Protanopia, Deuteranopia, and Tritanopia modes, covering the most common forms of colour blindness.

Full-width charts
Full-width charts look great on most screens, unless you're working with a curved device.
We heard your feedback, and made chart width adjustable. You can now enable or disable full-width charts based on what works best for your device. Just look for the settings icon on any chart.

CSV export for statements
Your income and capital gains statements can now be exported as CSV files.
A seemingly small improvement, but one that makes your data easier to use in whichever way suits you best, whether you prefer to work through the numbers in Excel, pass it to an accountant, or process it programmatically.

More precise prices
Not every instrument trades in two decimal places. In markets like the Baltics and the UK, price precision matters a lot.
We now display prices based on each instrument's tick size configuration, giving you a more accurate, transparent view of market data and more control over how you read prices for certain instruments.

Hopefully this roundup helped you find something new on Lightyear, something you can use to elevate your investing even further. If this sparked any thoughts or ideas on what we should build next, we want to know. Your feedback is truly important to us.
