The Fund employs a passive management approach and seeks to track the performance of the FTSE Japan Index. The Index is composed of large- and mid-sized company stocks in Japan. The Fund seeks to track the Index by investing in the constituent securities in approximately the same proportions as the Index. Where full replication is not practicable, the Fund may use a sampling process. The Fund may also use derivatives to reduce risk or costs and may engage in short-term secured lending of its investments. The Fund’s base currency is USD, and income is reinvested in the price of accumulating shares.

The Fund employs a passive management – or indexing – investment approach, through physical acquisition of securities, and seeks to track the performance of the FTSE Japan Index (the “Index”). The Index is comprised of large- and mid-sized company stocks in Japan. The Fund attempts to track the performance of the Index by investing in all constituent securities of the Index in the same proportion as the Index. Where not practicable to fully replicate, the Fund will use a sampling process. The Fund may use derivatives to reduce risk or cost and may generate extra income through securities lending. The Fund’s base currency is USD, and income is reinvested in the share price.
