I want to change my details

Some changes you can make yourself directly in the app, and some need a quick request to us so we can verify a few things first. Keep in mind that you can only have one Lightyear account, so if you need to update your details, it always needs to be done on your existing account. Creating a new account to start fresh with different details won't work.

If you need to get in touch, write to us from your verified email address, because we're limited in what we can help with if you contact us from an unknown address.

Phone number

We'll update this for you. Get in touch below and let us know your new number. For security reasons, we may ask you to complete a quick ID verification in the app, but we'll let you know if that's needed and guide you through it. Please don't send photos of your documents directly to us. You can read more about verification here: Verifying my identity and address.

Email address

You can update your email address yourself. Go to your profile → Settings → Your profile. If you can't log in, get in touch below from your current verified email address and let us know your new one.

Name

We can only update your name to match what's on your personal ID document. If you've changed your name, get in touch below and we'll ask you to complete a quick verification in the app with your updated ID. Please don't send photos of your documents directly to us. If you want to remove a name shown in the app, you can do that through your profile settings. Your full legal name will still appear on any statements you generate.

Address

Moved within the same country? You can update your address yourself under Settings → Your profile. If we need any supporting documents, we'll let you know.

Moved to a different country? Get in touch below and send us a proof of address. If your tax obligations have changed too, don't forget to include your new tax number.
