About ESIT ETF

The investment objective of the Fund is to achieve a return on investment, through a combination of capital growth and income on the Fund’s assets, which reflects the return of the MSCI Europe Information Technology 20/35 Capped Index, the Fund’s benchmark index. The Index measures the performance of large- and mid-capitalisation stocks in Developed Markets across Europe that are classified within the information technology sector under the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS) and comply with MSCI’s size, liquidity and free-float criteria. The sector includes stocks in software and services, technology hardware and equipment, and semiconductors and semiconductor equipment. Stocks are included on a free-float-adjusted market-capitalisation-weighted basis. The Index is rebalanced quarterly, with the weight of the largest group entity capped at 35% and the weights of the remaining group entities capped at 20%, subject to a 10% buffer at each rebalance. The Fund is passively managed and seeks to replicate the Index by holding its constituent stocks in similar proportions.
