About HIUS ETF

The Fund aims to track as closely as possible the returns of the MSCI USA Islamic Universal Screened Select Index, while integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) metrics. The Index is a subset of the MSCI USA Islamic Index and is composed of large- and mid-cap US stocks that comply with Shariah investment principles. It applies values- and climate-based exclusionary criteria, excluding stocks with exposure to controversial and nuclear weapons, civilian firearms, tobacco, thermal coal power, thermal coal mining, unconventional oil and gas extraction, Arctic oil and gas, palm oil, recreational cannabis and breaches of the United Nations Global Compact principles. The Index also screens stocks using ESG characteristics, defines an ESG re-weighting factor based on current ESG ratings and trends, and re-weights stocks from their free-float market capitalisation weights. The Fund is classified as an Article 8 product under the SFDR, and income is reinvested.
