About IGDA ETF

The investment objective of the Fund is to achieve the net total return performance of the Dow Jones Islamic Market Developed Markets Index, less fees, expenses and transaction costs. The Index is designed to reflect the performance of stocks traded in Developed Market countries that pass screens for adherence to Sharia investment guidelines based on parameters set by a Sharia supervisory board appointed by the index provider. Eligible securities may include stocks, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), Listed Property Trusts (LPTs) and American Depositary Receipts (ADRs). The Index excludes securities involved in business activities deemed inconsistent with Sharia law and applies financial screens to exclude securities with unacceptable levels of debt or impure interest income. The Index uses a float-adjusted market capitalisation weighting scheme and is rebalanced quarterly. The Fund uses sampling techniques to select securities in the Index and reinvests income to grow capital.
