The Fund employs a passive management approach and seeks to track the performance of the FTSE Emerging All Cap Choice Index (the “Index”). The Fund seeks to track the Index by investing in stocks that make up the Index, using physical replication. The Index is a market-capitalisation-weighted index composed of large-, mid- and small-cap stocks of companies located in Emerging Markets around the world. It is constructed from the FTSE Emerging All Cap Index, which is screened according to environmental, social and governance criteria, including controversial conduct and involvement in certain activities such as tobacco, alcohol, gambling, weapons, fossil fuels and non-renewable energy. The methodology also excludes stocks that do not meet certain United Nations Global Compact Principles and promotes companies with positive social and environmental characteristics.
