About WIRE ETF

The investment objective of the Fund is to track the performance, before fees and expenses, of the Nasdaq Global Electrification Technologies and Smart Grid Index. The Index is designed to reflect the performance of stocks from global markets that are exposed to themes related to the electrification of energy systems and smart grid infrastructure. Nasdaq applies a screening and analysis process to identify index constituents, including analysis of patent data, market size, trading volume, market listing and foreign ownership restrictions. Up to 100 securities with the highest Intensity Score and highest average Contribution Score are selected for inclusion in the Index. The Index follows a market capitalisation-weighting approach, with individual stocks capped at 4.5% at each semi-annual rebalancing. It is calculated on a total return basis, with dividends and distributions reinvested after tax. The Index is reviewed and rebalanced semi-annually, and may also be rebalanced at other times to reflect corporate activity. The Fund seeks to replicate the Index by investing in all or a substantial number of its constituents and may use derivatives and other techniques to manage risk, reduce costs and improve results. Returns and gains are not distributed but reinvested in the Fund.
