Analyst ratings (Buy, Hold, Sell) for Joby Aviation stock.

Bulls say / Bears say

Infrastructure boost from Blade deal: Acquiring Blade Air Mobility’s passenger business for up to $125 million grants Joby immediate access to urban terminals at JFK, Newark, and Manhattan, accelerating market entry. (Reuters)
Expanded customer reach via Uber: Joby’s plan to bring Blade’s helicopter and seaplane offerings into the Uber app by 2026 leverages a global ride-hailing platform to pre-build demand for its eVTOL services. (Reuters)
Regulatory de-risking through FAA pilot program: Inclusion in the U.S. pilot program announced September 2025 enables Joby to conduct limited eVTOL operations pre-certification, strengthening government partnerships and operational readiness. (Reuters)
Certification delays push revenue later: Type Inspection flight testing is slated for early 2026, deferring full FAA approval and delaying Joby’s commercial eVTOL service beyond initial 2025 targets. (Reuters)
Integration risk may hamper synergy: The Blade Air Mobility acquisition hinges on up to $35 million in performance milestones and retention of key staff, creating execution uncertainty that could slow operational consolidation. (Reuters)
Service launch deferred to 2026: Partnering to integrate Blade’s helicopter and seaplane services into Uber’s app by 2026 highlights that Joby’s eVTOL passenger flights remain at least a year away, extending pre-revenue operations. (Reuters)
