OPmobility SE, formerly known as Plastic Omnium, is a French company specializing in the design and production of automotive components, including intelligent exterior systems, complex modules, lighting systems, energy storage systems, and electrification solutions. Founded in 1946 by Pierre Burelle, the company is headquartered in Levallois-Perret, France, and operates globally with 150 production plants and 40 R&D centers across 28 countries. In 2024, OPmobility reported economic revenues of €11.6 billion, with an operating margin of €440 million. The company has diversified its customer base to include traditional automotive manufacturers as well as emerging electric vehicle producers, particularly in North America and China. Additionally, OPmobility is expanding into heavy and public mobility sectors, developing battery electric and hydrogen solutions for trains, buses, and trucks.
