Bulls say / Bears say

Orange’s H1 2025 EBITDAaL rose 3.8% to €5.66 billion, matching consensus forecasts, fueled by stronger performance in France and sustained double-digit growth in Africa & Middle East.
The company raised its full-year 2025 EBITDAaL growth target to above 3%, up from its previous guidance of 'around 3%', indicating management’s confidence in ongoing operational momentum.
Orange confirmed it will complete the signing of its Spanish fibre network joint venture 'MasOrange' by the end of summer 2025, supporting its fibre-to-the-home customer base, which grew to 15.5 million worldwide.
Orange is facing growing price competition in France from budget operators such as Iliad and Bouygues, along with subdued broadband demand after the pandemic, putting pressure on retail margins.
The enterprise division continues to hinder growth, with a significant drop in the unit’s revenues in Q4 2024 erasing some core profit gains from other regions.
Arcep’s May 2025 regulation imposes binding price caps on fully unbundled access to Orange’s copper local loop from 2026 to 2028, which could reduce future wholesale infrastructure revenues.
