Oil-Dri’s Q3 FY2025 net income jumped 50% to $11.6 million as net sales grew 8% to $115.5 million, making it the company’s 16th straight quarter of year-over-year sales growth and setting record earnings. (Nasdaq)
Oil-Dri raised its quarterly dividend by 16% to $0.18 per share, marking its 22nd consecutive year of dividend increases and highlighting its consistent financial strength and prudent capital management. (Nasdaq)
The Business-to-Business segment delivered 20% year-over-year revenue growth to $43.4 million and a 30% increase in segment operating income in Q2 FY2025, fueled by stronger demand for fluids purification and animal health products. (Nasdaq)
Oil-Dri’s Retail & Wholesale segment reported an 11% drop in operating income to $9.7 million in Q3 FY2025, with organic sales down 4% due to lower private-label distribution and customer bankruptcies, signaling pressure on margins in its consumer-focused business. (Nasdaq)
Total other expense climbed to $1.2 million in Q2 FY2025 from $0.5 million a year ago, mainly due to higher interest from debt taken on for the Ultra Pet acquisition and foreign exchange losses, factors that could affect future net margins. (Nasdaq)
Domestic cost of goods sold per ton rose by 11% in Q2 FY2025, driven by higher material, freight, and packaging costs, which could put further pressure on Oil-Dri’s gross margins if this inflation continues. (Nasdaq)
