Formed a joint venture with JERA and Mitsui to develop a $4 billion low-carbon ammonia plant at its Blue Point Complex, which will be the world’s largest by nameplate capacity, capitalizing on U.S. 45Q tax credits to assume a leadership role in clean ammonia. (Reuters)
Posted nearly a 20% increase in fourth-quarter profit to $328 million, driven by stronger ammonia sales from the recently acquired Waggaman plant, raising segment revenue by more than 15% year-over-year. (Reuters)
Expects strong demand in North America and Brazil thanks to improving corn planting conditions and upgraded USDA export projections, supporting continued sales growth of ammonia. (Reuters)
Missed Q2 profit forecasts, with adjusted EPS at $2.35 versus the expected $2.54, after a 77% surge in U.S. natural gas prices pushed cost of sales up 27%, leading to a 4.3% decline in shares. (Reuters)
Lower global crop prices for soybeans, wheat, and corn have caused farmers to reduce fertilizer spending, putting pressure on CF's sales volumes and revenue. (Reuters)
Higher capital expenditure guidance of $500–550 million for the year, up 1.4% at the midpoint, could limit free cash flow and increase leverage in a volatile market. (Reuters)
