What the Analysts think about Tapestry

Analyst ratings (Buy, Hold, Sell) for Tapestry stock.

Bulls say / Bears say

Tapestry increased its fiscal 2026 profit and sales targets, powered by a 21% constant-currency sales jump in Coach’s Tabby handbags, a 200 basis point gain in adjusted operating margin, and now sees adjusted EPS between $5.45–$5.60 and revenue growth of 7–8% (excluding Stuart Weitzman). (Reuters)
The company raised its full-year 2025 revenue and profit forecasts for the third time in May 2025, thanks to 13% Coach sales growth and negligible U.S. tariff impact, now expecting about $5.00 EPS on $6.95 billion in sales. (Reuters)
At its September 2025 Investor Day, Tapestry said it plans to fully offset existing tariff costs by fiscal 2028, execute a $3 billion share repurchase through then, and charted a path to grow Coach to $10 billion in sales, with mid-single-digit revenue and low-double-digit EPS growth targets by 2028. (Reuters)
Tapestry expects $160 million in tariff-related costs for fiscal 2026, which will cut operating margins by about 230 basis points—a significant hit to profits. (Reuters)
The company took $855 million in impairment charges for its Kate Spade brand in Q4 FY 2025, after determining the brand's fair value was now below its carrying value due to lower actual and expected future cash flows. (SEC Filing)
Tapestry’s fiscal 2026 EPS guidance of $5.30–$5.45, including more than $0.60 in tariff impacts, missed the $5.42 analyst consensus and triggered a stock drop of around 15% over guidance concerns. (Investopedia)
