- Pricing without surprises. Most crypto platforms charge a fee. Many also charge more through the spread, the gap between the price you see and the price you actually pay when you press 'buy'. It's how platforms make additional revenue without advertising it, and it makes the true cost of investing hard to know upfront. Lightyear doesn't work that way. Our 0.45% per order fee is your final cost. No spread on top, no quiet adjustment to the price.

- A regulated approach. Lightyear is MiCA licensed. MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets) is the new EU framework which unifies the rules around crypto investments and providers across Europe. From July 2026, providers without a MiCA licence will be required to cease operations. Lightyear is already MiCA regulated, meaning we’re here for the long term.
