The rate shown (1.97% APY) is what you get after the fee of 0.20%, compounded monthly over a year. The fund’s current 1-day yield is 2.15%.

2.15% - 0.20% fees = 1.95% (1.97% when compounded).

From 1st October 2025, the fees will increase to 0.20% per year.

A Money Market Fund is a low-risk investment that aims to give you a slightly higher return than cash. Unlike most funds that invest in bonds or shares, it invests in short-term debt.

This short-term debt is bought from governments, banks and companies with strong balance sheets and high credit ratings. In exchange, they pay interest to the fund.

Lightyear Savings allows you to invest in Money Market Funds. As with all investments, the value can go up as well as down. The yield generated by these funds changes daily and may also move in an unfavourable direction. Vaults allow you to invest in three BlackRock Money Market Funds, in three currencies:

• ICS Dollar Liquidity Fund
• ICS Euro Liquidity Fund
• ICS Sterling Liquidity Fund

For each fund, you can find the prospectuses and Key Information Documents on the fund instrument pages linked right above. The available funds are considered as qualifying money market funds by the fund manager BlackRock.

Lightyear Vaults are available in Austria, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania (EUR only), Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, and the UK.

They are not currently available in Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Ireland, Malta, Portugal, Slovakia and Slovenia.
