The investment objective of the Fund is to track the performance of the FTSE Developed Asia Pacific All Cap Choice Index (the “Index”) through physical acquisition of securities. The Index is a market-capitalisation-weighted index composed of large-, mid- and small-cap stocks of companies located in the Developed Markets of the Asia-Pacific region, including Japan. The Index applies environmental, social and governance (ESG) screening and excludes stocks of companies involved in certain activities, including controversial weapons, civilian firearms, nuclear weapons, tobacco, gambling, alcohol, cannabis, non-renewable energy and fossil fuels, as well as companies that do not comply with specified United Nations Global Compact Principles. The Fund may use representative sampling where it is not practicable to fully replicate the Index and may use derivatives to reduce risk or costs and/or generate income or growth.
