The investment objective of the Fund is to achieve the net total return performance of the S&P 500 Index, less fees, expenses and transaction costs. The S&P 500 Index focuses on the large-cap segment of the US market and includes 500 US stocks with a market capitalisation greater than US$5 billion that are listed on the NYSE or one of the NASDAQ exchanges. Index constituents are selected by the index committee using a series of rules as guidelines, and the Index is rebalanced monthly. The Fund uses unfunded swaps to exchange the performance of a basket of equities and equity-related securities for the performance of the Index.
View fundThe investment objective of the Fund is to achieve a return on your investment, through a combination of capital growth and income on the Fund’s assets, which reflects the return of the MSCI Emerging Markets Index, the Fund’s benchmark index. The Fund is passively managed and aims to invest, so far as possible and practicable, in the stocks that make up the Index. The Index measures the performance of large- and mid-cap stocks across emerging markets, with constituents selected based on the proportion of shares available for purchase by international investors. The Fund intends to replicate the Index by holding its constituent stocks in similar proportions, although it may use financial derivative instruments, American Depositary Receipts and/or Global Depositary Receipts to gain exposure to certain securities. The Fund’s shares are accumulating, meaning income is included in their value.
