The investment objective of the Fund is to replicate the price and performance, before fees and expenses, of the MarketVector™ Electrification Index. The Fund normally uses a physical replication strategy by investing directly in the underlying securities of the Index, including stocks, American depositary receipts (ADRs) and global depositary receipts (GDRs). The Index provides exposure to companies in the electrification value chain across one or more core segments: electric utilities and independent power producers involved in midstream, upstream or downstream operations; companies deriving at least 50% of their revenue from clean energy generation, transmission or distribution; industrial electrification processes and equipment, power management and cooling technologies, and off-grid generators; modernization of electric grid infrastructure, including energy transmission solutions, smart-grid technologies, cable connectivity, substation and transformer solutions; and battery manufacturing for industrial and automotive use cases, excluding energy-storage technologies. The Fund may also invest in financial derivative instruments relating to the Index or its constituents, as well as ancillary liquid assets and money market instruments. The Fund uses a passive investment approach and aims to achieve a performance that generally replicates that of the Index.
