Lightyear UK Ltd List of Execution Venues and Brokers

This page lists the execution venues that Lightyear U.K. Ltd. has direct or indirect access, and the brokers Lightyear U.K. uses to execute or transmit Customer Orders. It should be read together with our Order Execution Policy.

Execution via the RSP network

For UK-listed instruments, including those admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange (LSE), Lightyear U.K. Ltd. uses Infront, which is a Retail Service Provider (RSP) hub, to connect to multiple execution venues.

The RSP network is an electronic system through which multiple market makers and liquidity providers ("RSPs") simultaneously quote firm prices in response to a request for quote. Infront aggregates these quotes and routes Lightyear U.K. Ltd.'s Orders to the RSP offering the best available price at the time of execution.

The RSP network connects Lightyear U.K. Ltd. to UK-listed instruments, including those admitted to trading on the London Stock Exchange (LSE), with settlement through Euroclear UK & International (CREST), of which Lightyear U.K. is a direct member. As these trades are executed directly with a market maker, they are conducted bilaterally and off-exchange (OTC).
