The investment objective of the Fund is to track, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the MarketVector™ Global Gold Miners Index. The Fund normally uses a replication strategy by investing directly in the underlying stocks, ADRs and GDRs of selected stocks involved in mining for gold and generating at least 50% of their revenues from gold and/or silver mining, royalties or streaming, or having at least 50% of their mineral resources related to gold and/or silver. The securities are listed for trading and electronically quoted on a major stock market accessible by foreign investors. Where it is not practical or cost efficient to fully replicate the Index, the Fund may use an optimised sampling methodology. The Fund may invest up to 15% of its net asset value directly in stocks listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange or Shenzhen Stock Exchange and may invest more than 20% of its net asset value in Emerging Markets. The Fund uses a passive investment approach and does not participate in securities lending.
