The investment objective of the Fund is to achieve a return on your investment, through a combination of capital growth and income on the Fund’s assets, which reflects the return of the MSCI World Momentum Index, the Fund’s benchmark index. The Fund is passively managed and invests in stocks that, so far as possible and practicable, make up the Index. The Index is designed to reflect the performance characteristics of a subset of stocks within the MSCI World Index selected for their recent price increases. Its constituents are selected using a strategy that identifies stocks which have experienced price increases over the past 6 and 12 months, assuming that these increases will continue in the future. The MSCI World Index is designed to represent stock markets in Developed Market countries, with stocks included based on the proportion available for purchase by international investors. The Fund uses optimisation techniques to achieve a similar return to the Index and may use financial derivative instruments for investment and efficient portfolio management purposes. Income is accumulated in the value of the shares.
