The investment objective of the Fund is to reflect the performance of the S&P 500 Index, less fees and expenses. The Index is designed to reflect the performance of 500 stocks representing all major US industries. It contains shares of large US companies traded on certain eligible US exchanges, with index weightings based on the relative size of each company according to the combined value of its readily available shares. The Index is calculated on a total return basis, meaning that dividends and distributions are reinvested in the shares after tax. The Fund is passively managed and will attempt to replicate the Index by investing in all or a substantial number of its securities, although it may use techniques and instruments including derivatives to manage risk, reduce costs and improve results. The Fund's returns are reinvested and are not distributed.
