UK Gilt TN28/£TN28

Treasury 0.125% 31/01/2028 is a conventional UK government bond (gilt) issued by HM Treasury via the UK Debt Management Office. It pays a fixed annual coupon of 0.125% of nominal value, paid in semi-annual instalments on 31 January and 31 July each year. The gilt was first issued on 12 June 2020 and will be repaid at par (100% of nominal) on its maturity date of 31 January 2028. As a direct obligation of the UK government, it is regarded as one of the lowest-risk sterling fixed-income investments. Its market price fluctuates with interest rates and time to maturity, and returns are not guaranteed if sold before maturity.
