American Airlines is the world's largest airline by aircraft, capacity, and scheduled revenue passenger miles. Its major US hubs are Dallas/Fort Worth, Charlotte, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and Washington, D.C. It generates over 30% of US airline revenue connecting Latin America with destinations in the United States. After completing a major fleet renewal, the company has the youngest average fleet of US legacy carriers and is retrofitting some of these with more premium seating.

Fiscal 2026 sales excluding financial services were JPY 46.1 trillion. Toyota also has a financing arm and manufactures homes and boats.
