View fundThe investment objective of the Fund is to achieve a return on your investment, through a combination of capital growth and income on the Fund’s assets, which reflects the return of the MSCI World Islamic Index, the Fund’s benchmark index. The Fund is passively managed and invests, so far as possible and practicable, in the equity securities that make up the Index, in a manner consistent with Shari’ah principles. The Index measures the performance of large- and mid-capitalisation stocks across Developed Markets countries that are eligible investments for Islamic investors. It excludes certain securities based on Shari’ah principles and is weighted by market capitalisation, with constituent caps applied to support diversification. The Fund intends to replicate the Index by holding its constituent stocks in similar proportions. It may also invest in American Depositary Receipts, Global Depositary Receipts and other funds to gain exposure to the relevant stocks.
