The investment objective of the Fund is to reflect the performance, before fees and expenses, of the MSCI World Momentum Index (USD), which is designed to reflect the performance of stocks in large- and mid-cap companies across Developed Markets that are included in the MSCI World Index and selected using a momentum-based strategy. The strategy generally selects stocks that have performed well over the previous 6 to 12 months and are likely to continue performing well in the near future, subject to additional risk criteria such as company size. The index is calculated on a total return basis, with dividends and distributions reinvested after tax, and is reviewed and rebalanced quarterly, although it may also be rebalanced at other times to reflect corporate activity. The Fund is passively managed and seeks to achieve its objective by investing in all or a substantial number of the securities in the index, while it may use derivatives and other techniques to manage risk, reduce costs and improve results.
